I've kinda slacked on my weekly pictures but I'm gonna get back on track. You don't have to put on your thinking cap for this one. Just a cute little thing that I remember grandma letting me play with. I used to put pennies, or beads or whatever I thought was a treasure at the time, in it.
wow, is that metal or plastic? My husband brought me back some mud dolls from Spain, reminds me of the painting on them :D I wonder what it was meant to hold??? pins? toothpicks? twine? LOL ......jewelry? it's cute, like it very much!
and the totes, I love them. Not long ago I bought 4 of those tapestry table runners, the really long ones, for $1. I'm hoping to make jewelry bags out of them, or something, even grocery totes! Kudzu
Hi, My maiden name is Tinta. My Tinta's were from Hungary. Any connection to your Tinta's (or your husband's)? Best, Nancy Tinta Melkonian nmelkonian@earthlink.net
Hi Anonymous, I'm sorry there is no connection. For me, Tinta, is another way of saying, Cindy. My little cousins couldn't say Cindy and it came out Tinta. That's what that side of the family still calls me. (lol) Cindy
Hi. My name is Cindy. I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I have 2 kids, a girl 26 and a boy 19, and 2 beautiful granddaughters that are 3 years and 1 year. My hobbies are turning trash into treasure, making rag rugs on my loom, quilting, genealogy and most of all my family.
My husband and I raise chickens, turkeys, quails, pheasants, and like watching our pet geese and peacocks wandering in the yard. We live in a 150(+ -) year old house with nearly 5 acres of property and surrounded by corn fields. Ahhhh, peace and quite.
